From Glasgow to the Borders, in 5 short months Scotland has taken Big Fish Little Fish to its heart and loves what is all about – top name DJ’s in family centric events with an emphasis on everone having fun together. We couldnt be happier with all your praise and support so far, thank you all!
So far we have held 6 events and by the end of August that number will be 11! Can you beleive it?! More and more of you joining the BFLF tribe….
We’ve had DJ Kid (Manga), Simply Richard (Numbers), Todd (XY), Ritchie Rufftone (DMC champion), 601 (Punks) and Mark Price (Taste) help us put on awesome shows and the end of this month we have another sell out event in Glasgow with Scotlands Hip Hop duo The Slipmatt Brothers.. but it doesn’t stop there, this August we are taking on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a spectacular line up of DJ’s to rock your Sunday afternoons…and tickets are on sale right now!
7th August we have xFM DJ and Jesus Jones’s keyboardist ‘Iain Baker’. We’re so excited to have Iain join us as he’s a regular BFLF DJ in London and his shows have been nothing short of awesome.
14th August we host one of Ninja Tune’s most popular exports, ‘DJ Food’! This world famous DJ is always in such demand, so we feel honored to have him play for us at BFLF, it’s going to be one not to miss!
21st August we go in big time for the old school heads out there with 90’s rave legends and Moving Shadow label top billers ‘2 Bad Mice’, these guys have kept it going strong for more than two decades and being someone who was there in the beginning I can’t wait to see them here with my kids!
28th August we round off our fringe shows with another legend of the old school, a resident at the original and infamous Hacienda in Manchester and producer of seminal club favourite ‘Hear the Drummer’ which stormed the charts, this man has DMC champion status and put on some amazing BFLF performances already, ‘Chad Jackson’ is coming to Edinburgh!
We are super excited for the month of August and look forward to sharing these great times with you all. All our events will be running at our temporary home for August ‘Studio 24’ in Calton road, which is very close to the center of Edinburgh and will feature two rooms of BFLF fun to enjoy. Get your tickets fast!
We are just warming up for the future in Scotland and our commitment to get you up and dancing together is never stronger, we look forward to seeing you all there and don’t forget to spread the word of what we have in store, it’s sometimes hard to explain what we have done without experiencing it first hand, and we look forward to seeing new as well as regular faces.. see you on the dancefloor!
