PENRITH – Festive Family Rave – Saturday 24th November with David Dunne
World-famous, award-winning, Glastonbury Festival performing, family rave sensation BFLF is returning to Cumbria. We’re going to be on the top floor of the fabulous Rheged (prounouced Reg-ed) to kick off their Christmas party season with a festive family rave!
Never been to Rheged? There’s nowhere quite like it. Where the arts meet good food and family fun, all built under a hill with a grass roof! There’s a huge cinema screen showing new release films every afternoon and evening, indoor and outdoor play areas, 3 cafes, family activities and events, a selection of shops, foodhall and a gallery…phew…
David Dunne (Funkademia / Hacienda / Hed Kandi) will be providing the (grown-up) dance tunes for family raving together on a dancefloor with confetti cannons, bubbles, giant balloons and our awesome parachute dance finale.
Craft tables with themed crafting, themed colouring-in mural and playdough tables.
Play area with tents and tunnels and baby chillout space with mats, toys and small ball pool.
Lonely Planet Kids book nook.
Free transfer tattoos and glowsticks.
Ticket price includes entry to outdoor play area – weather permitting

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages very welcome, but activities are designed with 0-8 years olds in mind. Music is played at safe levels for everyone.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Rheged has a large on-site car and is about 5 minutes in a taxi from Penrith station. You can find all the travel details on their website – www.rheged.com/info/how-to-get-here/

What’s the refund policy?
There is a no refund policy, but if you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else. If well in advance of a sold out event please email infonw@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk so we can try and match you with someone on the waiting list. If within 24hours of the event then please post them to sell on the Facebook event page. Please inform us if you post on Facebook, as we validate these posts.
Adults remain responsible for their children at all times.
For families with younger children (8s and under) though all ages are welcome, as long as there are both adults and children in your party. Adult only groups are not admitted. A max of 3 children per adult in a family. If attending as a large birthday party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email infonw@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on.
Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants free (but ticketed). Will cost more on the door (if tickets available).
The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together. For indoor events low lighting/club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used.
Music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. This is far lower than usual clubs levels but given the number of children attending there is a constant level of background noise during the event.
Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating.
Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.
Buggies must be left in buggy park outside the event space and will not be allowed on the dance floor.
A licensed bar will be open during the event but no glass is permitted.
We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.
DJs will be announced in advance of each party via Twitter and Facebook but may be subject to unavoidable change.
