LINCOLN Circus theme Drum & Bass Special featuring DJ SS
Hey, Lincoln, Roll up, roll up…..
…come and join Big Fish Little Fish as we go into the big top with a ‘Circus’ themed party at The Engine Shed, University of Lincoln on Sunday 22nd April 2018 a 2-4.30pm.
Family fun for the post-rave generation of parents – helping them to be responsibly irresponsible since 2013. For families with younger children (8’s and under) though older siblings are welcome. Our raves are designed to be as much fun for grown ups as they are for children, and are social, daft, anarchic and creative spaces for all the family to enjoy.
The absolutely awesome and complete Drum and Bass Legend DJ SS will be playing (grown up) Drum and Bass on the multi-sensory dance floor with glitter cannons, bubbles and giant parachute dance!
Craft tables with giant mural, themed crafts and playdough table.
Play area with tents and tunnels and baby chillout space with mats and small ballpool.
Licensed bar, free tattoo transfers and glowsticks.
Face painters and cake stall are extras. Facepainting will be provided by the excellent Felicity www.facebook.com/
Optional fancy dress: think Circus, Clowns, Jugglers and Animals
Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
For families with younger children (8s and under) though all ages are welcome.
Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child.
Tickets
Adults £8.50
Children £6.00
Pre Walkers Free (But still need a ticket)
A max of 3 children per adult.
If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email infoyorks@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on and if anybody with tickets finds they cannot attend a sold-out event please email infoyorks@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk and BFLF will attempt to put you in touch with people seeking to buy tickets.
Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants free (but ticketed). Will cost more on the door (if tickets available).
Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 450 people at each party – which helps create the rave ambience. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance. Buggies must be left in buggy park and will not be allowed on the dance floor.
How loud will it be?
BFLF sets the volume lower than at normal nightclubs. While it is still loud, it is within safe limits as set out by the World Health Organisation – and it is monitored throughout the event. It’s up to you if you want to bring ear defenders, although most parents don’t. However, if your child is particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap during the event you might want to consider it.
