CANCELLED SOLD OUT! BIRMINGHAM Xmas Rave with Phil Gifford (Wobble) & Alex Hammond (Heritage)

We are extremely sorry to inform you that we have had to cancel Big Fish Little Fish at Mama Roux / Spotlight this Sunday 17th December. We will be offering all ticket-holders either a full refund (including booking fee) or a transfer to our Leamington Spa party on February 11th with DJ Pilgrim.
We have done everything we could to save the rave. As you know, this was originally due to take place at Rainbow Warehouse, which recently had its licence revoked. We managed to agree to move it to Mama Roux / Spotlight and at the time of informing you of the change, believed the temporary licence had been granted. But over the weekend we heard that the licence had been declined and we have spent the last 48 hours looking at alternatives. It has become clear that it is now simply impossible for any suitable venue to get the necessary licence between now and Sunday.
This was a sold out event, so we know there are a lot of disappointed Big Fish Little Fish customers out there. Please be assured that we have worked hard on this and exhausted all options and are every bit as disappointed as you. But we will be back soon and will make an announcement of a new date as soon as we can. We hope that you will come and rave with us in our new home.
In the meantime, if you would like your tickets to be transferred to our Leamington Spa party, please let us know. Otherwise, you need take no further action and your refund will be processed by Eventbrite within 72 hours.

The Big Fish Little Fish crew are bringing our award-winning, critically acclaimed family rave back to Birmingham for a Christmas party! Our raves are designed to be as much fun for adults as children and are social, creative, anarchic, daft and a lot of fun for all.
Gracing the decks for this rave we have Brummie legends Phil Gifford (founder and resident of Wobble) and Alex Hammond (founder and resident of Heritage). They will be bringing the tunes on our multisensory dancefloor with club visuals, glitter cannon, bubbles, giant bouncy balloons and topped off with the famous parachute dance.
The children can get busy in our craft area making themed crafts, be artistic on our giant colouring mural, and creative at our playdough table. There is a baby safe space with soft mats & ball pool. Toddler play area with tents and tunnels. Free glowsticks & transfer tattoos. Licensed bar and cakes & savouries stall. Fancy Dress theme is Christmas – optional but very much encouraged! Face painting is extra provided by Sara’s Parlour.

Admission: £8.50 (£5.50 child, under 1s free)
How loud will it be?
BFLF sets the volume lower than at normal nightclubs. While it is still loud, it is within safe limits as set out by the World Health Organisation – and it is monitored throughout the event. It’s up to you if you want to bring ear defenders, although most parents don’t. However, if your child is particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap during the event you might want to consider it.
Parents remain responsible for children at all times.
For families with younger children (0-8 years old) though older siblings are welcome. Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. A max of 4 adults per child . Tickets are non-refundable but if anybody with tickets finds they cannot attend a sold-out event please email kates@bigfishlittlefisheve
This is a standing/dancing event with limited seating, please contact me on katesbflf@gmail.com if you have mobility issues. Please be prepared for the event to be busy it is a rave! The event is conducted indoors with club lighting (no strobes), when entering please allow a few minutes for your eyes to adjust. Please no running!
