Join us for a family rave in celebration of the life and work of electronic music pioneer, Delia Derbyshire.
Big Fish Little Fish and DeliaPhonic Festival present an electronic family rave special (inside Coventry Cathedral!) with Alex Paterson (The Orb) and Taitsy (Awesome 3) WoW!
Grab the kids and join us on a multi-sensory dance floor filled with ambient house music, bubbles, balloons, confetti cannons, snow foam and even a giant parachute dance!
All ages are very welcome, but activities are designed with 0-8 years olds in mind. Adult only groups are not permitted and ‘Babes in arms’ are free, but will still require a ticket.
There will be…..
- Craft and playdoh tables
- Giant colouring-in mural
- Baby Chill area with small ball pool, mats and tents (non-walkers only)
- Toddler Town – tents and tunnels (ideal for 4 and under)
- Free glitter tattoos and kids squash
- Interactive ‘Sonic Playground’ where children can play with unusual instruments
- Licensed bar and snacks (additional fee)

IMPORTANT INFO (but a tad boring)
COVID cancellation protection and safety
If for any reason we need to cancel the event due to COVID you will be offered a full refund.
All BFLF staff carry out lateral flows prior to the event and we ask all attending adults to carry out a lateral flow test. If positive, contact us to be transferred to another event.
Stairs/Accessibility
Wheelchair access into the venue is available and there are accessible toilets available.
Nappy changing facilities
Changing tables and/or mats will be available. There will be no high chairs available.
Prams/buggies/general kid stuff
There is very limited storage space available, please leave prams behind if possible. Valuables (including kids) are the parent’s responsibility. Prams will not be allowed on the dance floor. Slings are encouraged and are cool!

Everyone is welcome on the dancefloor! If you, or your child, has any additional requirements, please get in touch. We have a range of measures that can help make your visit as comfortable as possible. Email sophie@bigfishlittlefish.co.uk for more info
What’s the refund policy?
There is a no refund policy. If you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else. If well in advance of a sold-out event please email sophie@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk so we can try and match you with someone on the waiting list.
Safety
- Adults remain responsible for their children at all times
- Adult only groups are not admitted. A max of 3 children per adult in a family.
- The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together.
- Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating
- Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance
Large Groups
If attending as a large party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 3 adults per child in your group please email sophie@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets
Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed). Please purchase bear in mind the age your child will be at the time the event will take place. It will cost more on the door (if tickets are available)
Sound Level
The music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.
Photography/Marketing
We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes
When you purchase a ticket through Eventbrite you will automatically get added to our mailing list so that we can send you any important event information as well as future events. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Just a reminder…
Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family-friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be no kid’s music, games, or DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor – dancing together. DJs will be announced in advance of each party via Twitter and Facebook but may be subject to unavoidable change.
