Come see in the New Year with Big Fish Little Fish! Actual New Year’s Eve Big Fish Little Fish family rave with the incomparable drum and bass legend DJ Aphrodite on the decks plus a ‘midnight’ countdown at 2pm! All in New Cross in our wonderful, intimate SE London pub/gig venue Amersham Arms.

The original family rave will have a multi-sensory dancefloor with glitter cannons, bubbles, giant balloons and parachute dance finale.

**The venue for this event has told me (10/12) that they will be checking Covid pass/Lateral flow result for entry. I will clarify exactly what they wish to check but it looks like it will formalise our on going request for all adults to do lateral flow tests before events. As previously, anyone with a positive lateral flow may have a goodwill transfer to a future BFLF event.**

In the event of cancellation due to Covid all ticket holders will be offered a refund or transfer to a future event.

All BFLF crew will lateral flow test in advance of the event and we ask all adult attendees do same. If test is positive or ticket holders show any symptoms then please do not attend but we offer goodwill transfer of tickets to a future event – as long as you email info@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk within 48 hours of the event.

Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.

Designed for families with younger children (8s and under) though all ages are welcome. and under 17 year olds only require a child ticket

A max of 3 children per adult. Larger birthday party groups should have one adult per two children. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email info@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk for pre-approval before buying tickets.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on.

Each member of your group must have a ticket and pre-walking infants free (but ticketed).

Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 400 people at each party – which helps create the rave ambience.

Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.

Buggies must be left in buggy park and will not be allowed on the dance floor. This venue has an outdoors buggy park – so please bring a raincover.

We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.

BFLF is a family friendly RAVE not a children’s disco. It’s all about having fun on the dancefloor to amazing music – no dancefloor games, DJ shoutouts nor current chart hits to stop you throwing shapes on the dancefloor together.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All ages welcome but acitivities are designed with 0-8 years olds in mind. Music is played at safe levels for everyone.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Very close to tube stations and lots of buses nearby. Parking is free in the nearby roads.

How Loud will it be?

BFLF sets and monitors the volume using World Health Organisation guidelines – so that is it at a safe level for everyone, even the youngest babies, over the 2.5 hour duration of the event. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.

What’s the refund policy?

There is a no refund policy but if you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else. If well in advance of a sold out event please email info@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk so we can try and match you with someone on the wiating list.
